Organisers were 'super delighted' when their summer fair raised a record £700.

Gosberton Academy PTFA held the annual event, which raises money to help pay for trips, an art week and other activities for pupils, on Friday, July 12.

"All the fund raised go back into the school. We have 150 pupils at the school and the majority of them brought their families along to support the event."

Attractions included barbecue, refreshments, raffle and children's games, which everyone was able to enjoy.

The headteacher Tom Baxter took a turn in the stocks and youngsters took part in the £5 Enterprise Challenge to raise extra funds.
