Fat blocking sewers in Spalding, Woodbridge, Peterborough and Sleaford prompts appeal from Anglian Water

Anglian Water is asking people not to pour fat down the sink after publishing pictures of a Spalding manhole.

Fat blocking a manhole in the town along with others in Woodbridge, Peterborough and Sleaford have been pictured on the firm's social media account.

It states: "Our key worker sewer teams have a tough job keeping the pipes flowing & protecting rivers – especially when fat causes blockages. Here’s some manholes they've lifted in Woodbridge, Peterborough, Spalding and Sleaford recently. Remember: fat down the sink causes a stink!
