SPALDING ramblers are taking advantage of the better weather and longer days by going further afield for walks.

The Spalding Ramblers Group will head to Norfolk for two of the Sunday walks and the Norfolk/Suffolk border for another of the eight to ten-mile hikes, all led by experienced members of the group.

In addition, the group is undertaking shorter evening walks, ideal for those who do not wish to travel far, or who would prefer to do a shorter walk of no more than five miles.

The group is giving advance notice of a coach trip to Bakewell in Derbyshire in July, with the choice of doing all, or only half, of a figure of eight walk in the Bakewell/Calver area – or a day out in Bakewell for non-walkers.

The cost of travel will depend on the number of passengers, but should be about £13 each, bookable by phoning Jean on 01775 762192.
