The search is underway for the best companies across the region as the South Holland Business Awards gets into full swing.
The region’s premier business awards are a showcase for the success stories in the area’s business community.
They celebrate the people and companies that are driving the local economy forward and now is the time to start nominating.
But you’ve got to be in it to win it and the organisers of the third annual awards want you to tell them about your business success stories.
The closing date for entries is October 20 when the judges will begin the task of looking at all of the entries.
The culmination of the awards will be a celebration gala dinner and ceremony at the Springfields Events and Conference Centre on November 19.
There are seven categories that firms can opt to compete in. They are apprentice of the year, business person for the year, supporting the community, customer care, business innovation of the year, small/new business of the year and the business of the year.
The headline sponsor of the awards is PSP It Design and Development, and the event has been organised by Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce.
Simon Beardsley, chief executive of the chamber, said: “Entering and winning awards can make a significant difference to business.
“It helps differentiate you from the competition. It can also help boost staff moral and even recruitment. But most importantly of all it positions you as the best in your field, which is attractive to customers.
“South Holland’s business community has a lot to celebrate, so it’s only right that a recognised awards ceremony is returning for a third year. I’d like to encourage anyone thinking about entering to take the plunge and contact us for an application form.”
