Rosemary Smith will be the guest speaker at Bourne Motor Racing Club on April 12 and will be talking about her time as a works rally driver for the Rootes group.
Rosemary won the 1965 Tulip Rally outright in a factory-entered Hillman Imp and was placed in many other events including The Circuit of Ireland, The Monte Carlo Rally, the Scottish, the Alpine and Acropolis Rallies.
In 2017, Rosemary drove an 800 hp F1 Renault GP car at the Paul Ricard Circuit in France, the only lady, and the oldest person, to ever achieve this feat.
Membership of the club is £20 and new members are always welcome.
Doors at Bourne Corn Exchange open at 7pm and Rosemary will begin her talk at 8pm.
