Break-in at Chislett Hire, Enterprise Way Business Park, Pinchbeck, where raiders used Audi estate car

A gang of raiders forced their way into a tool and plant hire business in Pinchbeck at the weekend, police have confirmed today.

Chainsaws, grinders and strimmers were among the items stolen from Chislett Hire, on Enterprise Way Business Park, during the early hours of Sunday.

At least three men travelling in an Audi estate car used a hand-held machine to cut open the shutters and bars of a side window to the shop.

The driver of the Audi pulled up on the wrong side of the road before the gang forced their way into the shop before leaving in the same vehicle which went off in the direction of Spalding Road.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: "Multiple vehicles drove past this Audi while the offence was being committed."

Anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident number 40 of July 28.
