South Holland primary schools report 'seamless' reopening to selected year groups
Youngsters in South Holland have given their teachers a welcome surprise by adapting quickly to social distancing measures in their classrooms this week.
Most primary schools in the area reopened on Monday, with smaller class sizes, regular hand washing and one-way systems of movement around schools buildings in place.
But head teachers who spoke to the Spalding Guardian have so far been pleased about the way children have become used to their new-look school days, with the numbers of pupils returning ranging between a third and a half of their normal register.
