Is your pumpkin just sat on the shelf?
There are just four days until the Spalding Pumpkin Festival - but don’t despair.
A pumpkin carving and decorating evening is taking place at Bookmark in The Crescent on Thursday evening, starting at 6pm, and everyone is welcome to pop along.
Independent businesses in the Crescent Traders’ Association are gearing up to make Friday’s pumpkin parade the wildest ever.
There will be a British Wildlife inspired free competition in The Cresent, with woodland creatures hiding in shop windows amongst 200 carved and decorated pumpkins.
You’ll find an entry form in Thursday’s Spalding Guardian, plus full details of the day’s attractions, including displays of bats by The Lincolnshire Bat Group and hedgehogs by Ruskington Wildlife. Fun starts at noon, with the parade at 6.30pm.
