Issues with mobile network provider O2 in South Holland could continue until Saturday, August 31




An update on O2's website says that upgrade work in the South Holland area could mean people have problems with making calls, sending text messages and using data until tomorrow evening (Saturday).

Issues have been reported in Spalding, Holbeach, Long Sutton and the surrounding area.

On its website, for network status in Spalding, a message from O2 explains: "Sorry, we're carrying out some upgrade work in this area.

People have been experiencing problems using the O2 network since this morning (Thursday)

"While we do this, you might have some trouble with your calls, texts and data.

"We’re working as fast as we can.

"Everything should be back to normal by 8pm on 31st August 2019."

In Holbeach, Long Sutton and Sutton Bridge, a message explains that the issue is due to a phone mast not working. There is no time given for when the issue is expected to be resolved.
