EXPANSION plans which will create up to 50 new jobs at a chilled storage firm in Spalding have been given the all-clear.
Work can now get underway at T F Bowman and Son to create a chill, cold and ambient store, loading docks, driver and staff facilities and offices.
Full planning permission was granted to T F Bowman and Son, based off Camelgate and Roman Bank, by South Holland District Council’s planning committee on Wednesday.
Praising the application, Coun Howard Johnson said: “To me this is an excellent application.
“It does generate new jobs in Spalding and in times of economic hardship that has to be welcomed.”
The plans will also see road improvements made to Marsh Road and Camelgate and the existing access closed off in favour of a new entrance.
