The Post Office is proposing to move Holbeach Post Office from its current location in High Street to the Co-op in Fleet Street and is giving customers six weeks to have their say about the move in a public consultation.
The new Holbeach office would have three serving positions and would open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday – it currently closes at lunctime on a Saturday.
Post Office regional manager Suzanne Richardson said: “We are making it easier for customers to get their cash, send and collect their mail and do their banking because we know how important these services are to local residents.
“We are confident that this vibrant new-style Post Office at the heart of the local community will meet customer needs.
