PICTURE GALLERY: Capital success for youngsters from Spalding's Polka Dot Dance Academy




A group of young dancers from Spalding are celebrating after achieving great success at a competition held in London, where all 18 members received a medal.

The Polka Dot Dance Academy youngsters were competing in group dances, solos, duos and trios at Starz UK London in The Albany Theatre.

The Academy's dance crew Fusion and the contemporary dance troupe both took first place and there were also victories for

Ella Allmond, Grace Scott and Jessica Clark in their solos. Miranda Hutchinson and Danielle Barton placed first in their duo.

Miranda Hutchinson was second in her solo and Harvey Graham, Avnee Uglow and Jessica Clark were second in their trio.

Polka Dot have also made it through to the grand final where they will compete against other dance schools from across the country.
