There’s nothing more likely to get young children excited than trying on a police uniform or, even better, sitting in the police car and listening to the noisy siren.

That’s just what happened to youngsters at Moulton Harrox Pre School, who were thrilled to receive a visit from the village’s new PCSO Naomi Newell.

Police community support officer Newell visited the pre-school to talk to the children about the role of police officers and how important it is for children to be kept safe in suitable seats while travelling in cars.

The children loved trying on the uniform but had even more fun sitting inside the police car.
