Appeal for witnesses after hit and run at Kates Bridge on A15 between Thurlby and Baston

Police are re-appealing for witnesses after a young cyclist was injured in a hit and run.

At about 7.30pm on Sunday, October 24, a red Volkswagen Golf collided with the rider of a light grey Trax TR1 mountain bike just after the Kates Bridge petrol station, on the A15 between Thurlby and Baston.

Both were travelling southbound.

Following the collision, the driver of the Volkswagen Golf did not stop at the scene but instead drove off along the A15.

The cyclist suffered minor injuries.

Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the fail-to-stop collision is being urged to contact Lincolnshire Police by calling 101, quoting incident 364 of October 24 or by e-mailing force.control@lincs.police.uk putting incident 364 of October 24 in the subject line.
