Lincolnshire Police issue warning to hare coursers as part of Operation Galileo
Lincolnshire Police issued a warning to hare coursers this morning.
Starting from 9.15am this morning (Tuesday), police implemented a 48-hour county-wide dispersal order - and warned offenders not to come to Lincolnshire.
The order, which is part of Operation Galileo, will allow police to force hare coursers to leave the county.
They will also have the power to seize dogs and vehicles.
Operation Galileo was first launched in 2020 in a bid to crack down on hare coursing incidents across the UK.
