Police issue CCTV image after landscaping scam in Moulton

Police have issued CCTV images of two men they wish to speak to in connection with a scam in Moulton.

An elderly villager was visited on August Bank Holiday Monday, August 27, by two men offering landscaping services.

After trimming a hedge outside, the men offered to do more work before following the villager to Weston Post Office at about 11am when a "large amount of money" was withdrawn, according to a Lincolnshire Police spokesman.

The cash was handed over to the pair who then drove off in a white Peugeot Partner van.

Anyone who knows the two men in the images or who was in Moulton and may have been offered similar work on bank holiday Monday should call 101, quoting incident number is 184 of August 27.
