Spalding police arrest 16-year-old after stabbing
Police are investigating following a stabbing in Spalding.
Officers were called to the junction of Stonegate and Halmergate at 7pm yesterday after receiving reports of an altercation between a group of people.
A police statement says: "A man in his 20s received an injury consistent with a stab wound. He was taken to hospital and his condition is not believed to be life threatening.
"Three other people, two women and a man, aged between 20 and 60, received minor injuries.
A 16-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident. He remains in custody and will be questioned in due course.
We believe this incident is isolated and those involved were known to one another."
