South Holland Police have bailed four arrested in connection with incident in Spalding where a woman was seriously injured

Police investigating how a woman was seriously injured have released four people on bail.

Officers were called to a property on Cradge Bank, Spalding, just after 11am on Monday, April 5, where they found the 39-year-old woman, who was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The victim remains in hospital.

Three men and one woman, aged 50, 51, 55 and 48 respectively, were arrested.

A police statement says: "The three men and one woman arrested in connection with our investigation have been released on bail pending further inquiries. The victim remains in hospital with serious injuries.
