A16 Cowbit accident: Road open again, police appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses, especially those with dash-cam footage, following a collision on the A16 at Cowbit this morning (Wednesday).

Officers were called to the A16 between the Applegreen roundabout and Cowbit roundabout at 6.02am following a collision involving a Ford Focus and a HGV.

The road was closed for around nine hours but has now re-opened.

One person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
