Bourne road accident prompts police appeal




Police are appealing for witnesses to a road accident in Bourne, at around 11.20am today (Sunday, November 3).

Following a call from the fire service at 11.22am, officers attended the junction of Exeter Road and West Street.

The accident involved a black Vauxhall Vivaro van and a black Ford Fiesta car. Minor injuries were reported.

Fire crews from Bourne, Corby Glen and Spalding attended and used small tools and stabilisation equipment to release one casualty and make the vehicles safe.
