Plan for 100 new homes in Pinchbeck approved
An application to build 100 new homes on a Pinchbeck nursery have been approved.
A plan for 200 homes on the Keston Nursery site, Mill Green Road, by AMJ Construction Ltd was rejected by South Holland District Council in November 2016.
The authority said the development would cause “significant and demonstrable harm” to the village.
But following a resubmission of the plan in 2017 by the developer, the council approved plans for half the amount of homes on the site.
The applicant said that the plan would help the authority meet its housing targets.
It said: “The proposal assists in the local planning authority meeting the requirement for a five-year housing land supply and is acceptable in all other respects.”
