Operatic tenor Jeff Woods says classical singing, like so many other things, is a technique that has to be learned.
Jeff, who moved to Pinchbeck to be closer to partner Jacqui’s family, says: “Once you have the technique you have to hone it and if you don’t use it you lose it.
“It’s a physical thing and I still do all the Nessun Dormas and all that kind of stuff and I am always up for any challenge.
“I think my Wagner days are gone. I wouldn’t be able or be interested in Wagner any more because quite honestly you get on a bit and I have other thing I enjoy doing.”
That includes his cabaret acts and performing as Santa – and as The Singing Santa.
The Singing Santa CD, The Tinsel Song and his wonderful Christmas stories, is available from Bookmark in The Crescent in Spalding, Wimberley Hall Farm Shop in Weston, B’s Coffee Shop at Birchgrove Garden Centre in Pinchbeck or online from thesingingsanta.co.uk
