Children from Pinchbeck East Primary School accompanied by their teachers made their way to the war memorial in the village on Armistice Day.

They were joined by members of the Pinchbeck parish council, the Pinchbeck branch of the Royal British Legion (RBL), parents and friends to take part in a short service to mark the anniversary of the end of World War 1.

During the service, the children laid wreaths on the memorial, to go alongside those laid on Remembrance Sunday.

The parish council had also acquired a new bench to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War, which is placed in the memorial garden in Pinchbeck.
