Lorna Webb should be expert at making pancakes – she made 300 of them on Shrove Tuesday.
Her technique has been refined over 40 years of holding pancake and coffee mornings at her Pinchbeck home, assisted by friends. The 90-year-old was mixing pancake batter again this week, raising funds for St Barnabas Hospice (Jenny Freeman Lodge). Lorna admits she’s “not bad” at making them, but won’t share her secret recipe.
