Nicholas Pitts, of the Burtey Fen Collection at Pinchbeck, sent this picture of a 1960s money box in the shape of a book, which he says was issued by the Trustee Savings Bank in Spalding.

The box has a slot for coins and the number 519 embossed on the metal side.

The book’s title was a witty one – Looking Ahead, published by Wiseman.
