Paul Hammond showed a talent for the theatre from an early age.
He recalls acting in things at school when he was just five or six and during the time he studied drama at secondary school Paul was selected to go to the Edinburgh Festival in the Cliff Richard The Young Ones musical.
However, after studying at Guildford School of Acting he began directing and producing shows.
He has been the voice of many of the characters he created for Haven Holidays’ Bradley Bear show.
Since around 2000 he has been writing shows for Drayton Manor’s Thomas Land and for Rory the Lion’s show.
The entire family is involved in productions, including Josh and his cousin Jordan, who both take parts, and Paul’s mother, who looks after front of house.
Paul’s sister Susan has been involved in the shows over the years and now acts as the on-site management for productions at Drayton Manor.
Hammond Feel the Magic is putting on a panto at Baytree Garden Centre in Weston during December in association with the Lincolnshire Free Press & Spalding Guardian.
