PICTURE GALLERY: Medieval fun for Tydd St Mary pupils

Pupils at Tydd St Mary Primary School are finding out about Kings and Queens and as part of this topic visited Lincoln Castle. They took part in various activities, including archery, knight training and being part of a castle banquet.

Back at school, the medieval theme continued with celebrations on May Day, dancing around the maypole, creating their own coat of arms, and baking honey cakes.

Kingfishers class recently visited Octavia Hill's birthplace museum and were then invited back on May Day to take part in the celebrations and Maypole dancing. They were greeted by Wisbech Mayor Coun Peter Human and Mayoress Janet Tanfield.
