PICTURE SPECIAL: Surfleet marks 100 years of Remembrance with church service and Battle's Over commemoration at Glen Park

Twenty one men from Surfleet who gave their lives in two Worlds Wars were uppermost in villagers' minds on Sunday.

Prayers of Remembrance were said at St Laurence's Church were children from Surfleet Primary School joined villagers for a special service on Sunday morning.

It was followed by a short service at Surfleet War Memorial which bears the names of the 17 men from the village who died during World War I.
