PICTURE GALLERY AND VIDEO: Youth groups lead Remembrance Day commemorations in Moulton




Young people from Moulton led the village in remembering the sacrifices made by British servicemen on Sunday.

A parade of 1st Moulton Guides, 2nd Moulton Brownies, Moulton Rainbows and 1st Moulton and Whaplode Scouts set off from the village hall to All Saints Church.

The Vicar of Moulton, the Rev Gareth Atha, led a service of Remembrance which included the traditional laying of wreaths and crosses by the church's War Memorial.

Mr Atha said: "It was very, very well-attended, with a lot of uniformed and youth organisations represented.

Brownies leader Debbie Saville said: "It was a fantastic day and a lovely service, with 18 girls from Moulton Guides and Brownies and Rainbows' units attending.

"There was a lovely turn-out and the Rev Atha got the girls involved in the service which was good."
