There was fun for all the family at this year's Christmas fayre held at Surfleet Village Hall.

Organised by the Celebrate Surfleet Committee, funds raised from the event will help pay for a fourth defibrillator for the village.

Committee member Jill Wright said: "We were very busy. We actually had lots of people from outside Surfleet visit.

"We haven't counted all the money raised yet but it is more than last year. It will go towards a defibrillator on Stockhouse Lane. The village is seven miles long and this is the fourth defibrillator for the village."

As well as various stalls at the fayre, the café was doinga roaring trade, money was raised from a raffle, and there was a visit from Santa, Mother Christmas and the 'Elf on the Shelf' toy advisor.
