Members of Spalding Nonconformist Choir Union were pictured in front of the United Methodist Church after “a very successful patriotic concert” under the conductorship of Mr Bernard Fowles, Mr Haydn Chester on the organ and Miss Gladys Greenall on the pianoforte.

In the front row (from left, not all shown) are Miss G Conquest, Miss Elsie James, Miss R Chapman, Miss Evelyn Wilson, Miss E Conquest, Miss E Edwards, Miss I Fovargue, Miss G George, Miss M Allenson and Miss Walden.

Choir secretary Mr J Earley is left on the third row, treasurer was Mr Chas M White (not shown) and president the Rev H Cook is fourth from left on the top row.
