Lincolnshire health chiefs say 'unexpected delay' resulted in letter delay for Spalding GP Surgery patients

‘An unexpected delay’ resulted in some patients missing out on the first Spalding GP Surgery consultation event.

Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board is consulting on the future of the Johnson Hospital surgery. The first in a series of consultation events was held last night - but not all patients have had letters yet.

A spokesman said: “There was an unexpected delay within the NHS department who send letters out on behalf of the ICB.

"We are keen to hear from as many patients as possible so if we feel it is necessary to hold more events in addition to the three we already have planned then these will be arranged accordingly.”
