Spalding shop is banned from selling alcohol after raft of issues including the sale of prescription medication




A Spalding shop has had its Premises Licence revoked earlier today.

Delicja, of Westlode Street, was in front of South Holland District Council's Panel of the Licensing Committee after Lincolnshire Police raised serious concerns about the premises following a visit and test purchase in the summer - when prescription only medication was found to be sold.

The visit highlighted numerous issues with the shop, including cans of beer being offered for sale without a price being displayed, which is in breach of the Price Marking Order 2004.
