CARERS Connect is hosting a pampering and information day from 10am to 2pm on Thursday, June 16 at Spalding’s South Holland Centre.
It will be a chance for carers to ask questions about issues such as money, respite care and health problems – as well as receive a selection of pampering treats.
Lincolnshire Carers Partnership spokesman Sarah Oliver said: “Many carers in Lincolnshire suffer due to a lack of understanding about what they do – some don’t even recognise themselves as carers.
“This has a real and negative impact on their health, finances, working and social life, and general wellbeing.”
National Carers Week runs from June 13 to 19 and has the backing of celebrities including Dame Judi Dench, Angela Rippon, Jack Charlton and Sir David Jason.
