Over 50s in Lincolnshire can now book an appointment for their Covid jab

People over the age of 50 can now book an appointment to have their Covid-19 vaccination.

Lincolnshire Resilience Forum has posted on social media that the over 50s can now book an appointment at the county's Large Vaccination Centres, which are the Princess Royal Sports Arena near Boston and the Lincolnshire Show Ground in Lincoln.

But Allied Health South Lincolnshire, which has organised the vaccination programme from Springfields Events and Conference Centre with 12 GP practices in South Holland, Bourne and Market Deeping, says local appointments are available.

The Allied Health South Lincolnshire social media post states: "Just to be clear, all our practices will have appointments available in the coming days and before the end of March for anyone over 50 (or cohorts 1-9).

"If you haven't already been contacted you will be very shortly."
