To coincide with the return of British astronaut Tim Peake to Earth, the historic Spalding venue Ayscoughfee Hall is holding a space weekend.

On June 4 and 5, families can enjoy a mobile planetarium and two free talks - one on meteorites by Helen Gould at 10.30am and 1.30pm on both days and the other by Richard Pearce called My Sky - things I can look for in the Night Sky at 11.30am and 2.30pm, also on both days.

Places for the event are limited but can be reserved by calling the Ayscoughfee team on 01775 764555. Prices are adults £2.50 and children £1.50. There will also be a drop-in arts and crafts session, and the East Lincolnshire Astronomy Club will be showing a display of telescopes and images.
