Two-car crash in Little London, Spalding, leaves one person needing hospital treatment

One person needed hospital treatment after a crash involving two cars in Spalding today.
A Volkswagen Polo and a Vauxhall Vivaro were in collision in Little London, between Cowbit Road and London Road, at about 10.50am.
Firefighters from Spalding and Market Deeping helped to release a casualty who was trapped in one of the cars and gave them first aid before paramedics arrived.

The person was then taken to Pilgrim Hospital in Boston by ambulance.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman confirmed that the road was eventually reopened at 12.35pm.
