LETTER: Disabled bay parker should be ashamed

Have your say

I was in Spalding on June 28 when I observed a man parking his car next to mine in a blue badge bay outside Longstaffs.

When I spoke to him he said he would be a few seconds.

On returning to our car after shopping two-and-a-half hours later he was still parked. I spoke to a council worker who said to inform the police.

This man came to his car and when my wife said she was informing the police, he said ‘sure they will act straight away’.

There are only two of the bays outside Longstaffs and they are often taken up by able-bodied people.

These able-bodied people who use them should be ashamed of themselves.

There are not enough of these bays in town.
