LETTER: A way to save £400K

Have your say

Coun Gary Porter (leader of South Holland District Council) states on the council website he wants to save money.

Well, why does he not follow Wiltshire Council’s example (Daily Telegraph, October 10)?

They are expected to save £400,000 a year by sacking the chief executive and one in four corporate directors.

This saving could be wasted this year on the Red Lion Quarter and no doubt the council could find other projects to waste it on in coming years.
