The sums all add up again for Spalding accountants Duncan and Toplis after it was named East Midlands Medium (Sized) Accountancy Firm of the Year.

Just like last year, the chartered accountants and business advisers were winners at the Nottingham, Derby and Lincoln Society of Chartered Accountants’ Awards.

The category is for firms of between six and 25 partners or principals that are members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Adrian Reynolds, managing director of Duncan and Toplis, said: “We were delighted to win the inaugural award last year, so to come back and win again this year is a very special achievement for us.

“We work extremely hard on behalf of our clients across the East Midlands and I am pleased that the skill and dedication of all our staff has been rewarded in this way by the Institute.”

Duncan and Toplis has ten offices in Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Nottingamshire, including Spalding, where the firm employs about 350 staff.

Mr Reynolds added: “The award judges recognised that we have a high regard for our social responsibilities, in addition to our support to the businesses we act for.

“This award recognises not only excellence in client service but also our commitment to our local communities and our staff as we are very aware that our business will only flourish if our communities do the same.

“we work very hard to not only support our clients but also contribute to our communities in a variety of ways.
