Well-known Quadring man Norman Featherstone has unveiled a plaque in memory of his great aunts, who paid for the church hall to be built.
The plaque had been taken down when the hall was redecorated and Norman was asked to officially unveil it again.
Later the same evening, Norman gave an illustrated and amusing presentation on the history of the village.
His talk included tales of murder and adultery.
He is pictured above with Elizabeth Stott, Rev Ian Walters, Tony Quinton and Jude Young as he reveals the addition to the hall. Photo (TIM WILSON): SG1103201TW
