South Holland and Bourne GP surgeries are not due to receive any doses of Covid vaccination until June 21
The people who are running South Holland's vaccination programme say they are not due to receive any first doses for the next three weeks.
Allied Health South Lincolnshire says it has not been allocated any vaccines for first doses despite the programme opening up to 25 to 29-year-olds. Vaccinations will continue at the Princess Royal Sports Arena in Wyberton.
Clinical and clerical staff from 12 medical centres in South Holland, Bourne and Market Deeping have given 84,255 doses across our area of both the Pfizer and Astra Zeneca vaccine since the beginning of the programme.
A statement on Allied Health's Facebook page states: "This week (week commencing June 7), next week (w/c June 14) and the following week (w/c June 21) we are not scheduled to receive any vaccines allocated for first doses.
"We will be running clinics in practices for second doses and these will be predominantly Astra Zeneca over the coming days and weeks.
"We will receive a small amount of Pfizer w/c June 21 which will also be for second doses only.
"If you are now eligible for a vaccine and under 30 you can still book into other sites via the National Booking System who have been allocated the appropriate vaccines, and we would encourage people to take up the opportunity to book your vaccine as soon as possible."
