No casualties reported after lorry fire on A16 at Crowland

No casualties were reported at a lorry fire on the A16 last night.

Pictures showed flames and smoke emitting from the vehicle yesterday evening - with one Facebook user reporting explosions.

Fire crews from Crowland, Spalding and Stanground and Dogsthorpe crews attended the scene. They extinguished the blaze using two hose reels, foam and breathing apparatus.

The entire lorry, its trailer and contents were damaged.

Crews then left the scene and the incident with left with Lincolnshire County Council's highways department.

No casualties were reported after the fire.
