New mental health nurse for South Holland

A new mental health nurse is joining a service that looks after South Holland.

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT) announced that 25 new recruits have qualified to deliver mental health care - despite facing Covid disruption to their studies.

The Spalding Guardian understands one of those graduates is to join the Boston Crisis and Home Treatment Team, which covers our district. Others will go to work on inpatient wards as well as specialist services for young people and those with disabilities.

Kerry Woodcock, lead nurse for safe staffing and professional development, added: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome all our newly qualified nurses to the Trust over the coming weeks. They’ve all worked so hard under very difficult circumstances.”
