South Holland town centres to become 'safer public places' under government guidance

South Holland's four town centres will look very different should coronavirus lockdown measures continue to be eased by the Government over the coming months.

Wider pavements to ensure social distancing, hand washing stations, new signage and marshals to control queuing outside shops and market stalls in Crowland, Holbeach, Long Sutton, Spalding could all be introduced as town centres are gradually reopened to the public.

South Holland District Council is considering the latest guidance from the Government contained in a document published on Wednesday.
