Visitors to Sneath’s Mill at Lutton during its open days in August can now enjoy a picnic in the grounds.

A grant from The Lady Neville Charity has allowed Sneath’s Mill Trust to buy two substantial picnic benches.

A trust member said people who visit the mill each weekend during August (11am to 3pm) can take a picnic along – as well as putting finishing touches to the Mill Bug Hotel (right). The bug hotel is in the shape of an upturned boat on top of a six-sided mill and visiting children can add filling to shelves.
