PATIENTS undergoing investigations for heart and lung problems at Pilgrim Hospital are set to benefit from a £95,000 redevelopment.

A new unit for respiratory medicine has been built at the hospital in Boston, along with a new outpatient consultation room and offices for staff.

The move of the respiratory department will also enable cardiology to expand.

Staff hope the new unit will help cut patient waiting times.
