Health watchdog gets further three year contract
The watchdog that campaigned to bring NHS dentists to Spalding has been given a further three-year contract by Lincolnshire County Council.
Healthwatch Lincolnshire chief executive officer Sarah Fletcher said: "Over the past five years we have gone through a period of significant change, from our early formation in 2013 where we had to learn how to operate in Lincolnshire's health and care environment, through to our current day with the introduction of a bespoke data and information system which has captured over 20,000 individual health and care experiences.
"Included in this is enforcing our independent role, but for us our main priority is all about working with and supporting the people of Lincolnshire to improve our health and care services.
"Every voice is important to Healthwatch Lincolnshire and the public's involvement has made a real difference."
Healthwatch says it looks forward to continuing to bring about improvements in health and care services.
