South Holland based musician Liz Lenten is due to release the follow up to her internationally acclaimed album Indian Summer in January.

Liz fronts the band Auburn, which had a ten-date UK tour alongside the legendary Jefferson Starship with the first album since the band reformed in 2011.

Nashville is the band’s follow up, due for release on January 27.

It is flooded with dreamy, soulful lyrics and roots music embedded with catchy pop rhythms.

Following Liz’s return as singer and songwriter to the band – which has played with everyone from Roy Orbison to Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton – she has contributed 11 of the new album’s 12 tracks.

Recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, with award-winning producer Thomm Jutz (Nanci Griffiths and Mary Gauthier), Nashville has already been well-received as a “fresh sound” in America. Three tracks from the album were made available on ReverbNation prior to its release and within a few weeks had reached No 1 in the UK Americana charts.
