National Theatre’s Jane Eyre screened in Spalding

An acclaimed re-imagining of Charlotte Brontë’s masterpiece, Jane Eyre, is being shown at South Holland Centre in Spalding on Wednesday (7pm).

The production is being broadcast live from the National Theatre.

Almost 170 years on the story of the orphaned Jane and her feelings for her employer Rochester remains as inspiring as ever.

This bold and dynamic production uncovers one woman’s fight for freedom and fulfilment on her own terms.

The celebrated production was first staged by Bristol Old Vic last year, with director Sally Cookson.

Tickets are £13.50, £12 or £10 for under 26s and school children available from the box office.
